Spark joy with Origami

I am an origami enthusiast.

I love sharing delightful origami with friends and family.

In this new site, I would like to share some origami that I’ve made to connect with you.

Origami sparks joy in my life. It brings calmness and enjoyment. Turning papers into objects is magical. You might also achieve meditative moments through folding papers.

Today I spent a relaxing afternoon folding 12 cranes (Orizuru).

12 Origami cranes (orizuru) folded by Janet Williams, England. Folded using stunning printed origami papers. The 12 designs feature 12 themes: January Pine; February Plum, March Cherry Blossom; April Wisteria; May Iris; June Peony; July Bush Clover; August Japanese Pampas Grass; September Chrysanthemum; October Maple; November Willow; December Paulownia.
I folded using this lovely pack of papers. It contains 12 themes featuring nature in changing seasons.

48 pieces of origami paper and a diagram are included in this pack. The designs feature 12 themes: January Pine; February Plum, March Cherry Blossom; April Wisteria; May Iris; June Peony; July Bush Clover; August Japanese Pampas Grass; September Chrysanthemum; October Maple; November Willow; December Paulownia.

Each month is represented with one theme, with 4 variations in design. Colour, design, and creativity in each paper are pleasing.

I remember I bought this pack while visiting Singapore last summer.

Here are some of the cranes that I made today.
