请读者评一评:这封道歉信写得好不好?

上周末,乘假日到 Salisbury(索尔兹伯里)走走,在那儿吃中饭。

花了 £34,吃了意大利菜。餐厅优雅,宽敞舒适,服务员好像是个意大利人,笑容特别灿烂。不过,服务员有点儿慢条斯理,连结帐都慢慢来,要我走到柜台去。不过,我们有的是时间,所以这不是大问题。餐厅的食物又贵又不好吃,这才是致命伤。

Strada 意大利餐厅 -- 没有惊喜

结帐时,服务员请我们上网评分,有机会赢取奖金。我这个人,从小到大,没有得奖的命,从来没有在任何幸运抽奖中得过奖。不过,想到可能有机会赢得现金,见钱眼开,我花了十多分钟,在公司的网站打了分数。我打了超低分,说以后不会再光顾了, thank you very much.

今天,收到了公关的来信。她的信是这样写的。读者觉得,这样的道歉有诚意吗?

Thank you for providing feedback regarding your visit to our Strada Salisbury restaurant.  I am sorry that you felt the need to write to us. 

The food at Strada is generally very well received by the majority of our customers and we aim to ensure that the style and quality of food remains high.

我们的食物广受喜爱……高水平……

Food is a subjective issue and very much comes down to likes and dislikes.  I do regret that on this occasion the food did not meet your expectations.喜欢不喜欢某道食物,其实是主观的看法。但是,很遗憾,这一次,我们的食物没达到你的要求。
I have forwarded your feedback to the restaurants (正确写法应该是: restaurant’s ) Manager who will carry out an investigation and will further train all staff about the importance of ensuring all of our dishes are prepared to correct specifications.  我已经把你的回馈转达给了厨房经理。他将会调查,会训练员工……,要保证……
We make every effort to ensure a positive dining experience for all our customers and we regret that your enjoyment was diminished (这是英文的含蓄表达法)because of the service issues.  All of our staff are trained to be friendly, helpful and efficient and I sincerely apologise that the service fell below expectation and you left our restaurant disappointed.  Please be assured that your comments have been brought to the attention of the Restaurant Manager for follow up and internal review.

我们致力于……我们很遗憾,因为服务方面出了问题, 让你的欢愉减少了。……我诚挚地向你道歉,因为我们的服务未达标,让你带着失望离去。我向你保证……跟进和内部检讨。

We appreciate you taking the time and trouble to write bringing these issues to our attention.  It is only through customer feedback of this kind we are able to improve on our product and service where necessary.  We hope to welcome you back in the future.  ……欢迎你再次光顾。

    1. 我同意勺子的说法。写那么长干什么?直接寄上几十镑的消费券就好了。你去的时候,让大厨好好烧!!
