I’m not sure I agree; I am afraid I have to disagree.

Please can you help me, I’m sorry, could you tell me the next train to London please? I’m wondering if you know the next train to London?

I’m sorry, I don’t really want to impose, but I’m wondering if you could feed Bella…

不说:Tidy up! 老师通常会说:“If you could help put things away nicely, that would be much appreciated.

If you could possibly do  that, that would be wonderful.’

学生要帮老师派课本,老师会回答:That would be lovely!

http://shileyao.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/%e8%8b%b1%e5%9b%bd%e5%8f%a4%e8%a3%85%e6%88%8f%e5%bd%92%e6%9d%a5/

The Remains of the Day(去日留痕/告别有情天/长日将尽),很典雅的。
